1. Mobile lifts
are by far the most recognized lifting device available. They have the
ability to roll into most areas of the home and are commonly used to
transfer from bed to chair, chair to toilet, and chair to chair. The
down side to mobiles is that they are difficult to move on carpet, and
the fixed legs will not allow you to transfer into a bath tub or any
area without a 4” clearance underneath.
